How to look after your handmade creations
Your clay items are hand made from a porous material called 'Polymer Clay' and will often have foil, glitter, resin and mica added to create the special design. Here are some suggestions to keep your pieces at their best;
- Avoid showering, swimming and exposure to harsh chemicals while wearing your pieces to preserve their colours and glue backings.
- To keep clean, wipe pieces down gently with a damp cloth.
- Scuffs can occur, so to help you can wipe a scuff gently with rubbing alcohol with a makeup wipe. (Please ensure extra care is taken when applying rubbing alcohol to foil, mica & paint on pieces)
HAND PAINTED: Your hand-painted pieces are painted on a variety of synthetic paper, polymer clay, and wood materials, they are then coated with a clear resin coat. These creations are very durable, but please love them to avoid scratches and snaps. To clean, you can easily wipe them down if they get a bit dirty from makeup, muck, etc.
